Step 1: Locate your water meter. Your water meter is likely located in your basement and is connected to the water service main.

Step 2: Scratch test. Lightly scratch pipe leading into meter from service main (i.e. the pipe coming into the house from the street or your backyard) with a metal implement like a screwdriver or knife.

Step 3: Take photos and submit using the form below. Take a picture of meter and a close-up of scratches and submit a report below.
